Hi my name is May and I am a lampwork artist. I live in Texas with my family and all my pets. I have been lampworking for about 2 years and have been stringing beads for the past 3 years. Lampworking in short is the art of melting glass on to a very round and small mandrel which is what makes the bead hole. Then the bead is cooled to room temp. that is done with a digital kiln. I always clean my beads with a sharp diamond drill bit. I am picky about the way my beads look so I take a lot of pride in makeing each one in my studio in Texas. So visit and look around if you like anything email me

you can always find me hanging around here as well

One last thing. I'm a subscriber at Scripts4Ning - I'm not sure if you want to do that, but check it out - that's how I get all the drop downs. You can subscribe up to 10 Ning Networks for a monthly subscription fee. I don't mind, I just want everyone out there to enjoy the site. Eventually, I will be bringing ADS in when I get more members so that they can purchase AD Space for pennies. It'll be good for those people that want to advertise on more than just the one Network.
Ning is doing better with the Tabs though.
Does this help.
If you need to know how to do something - let me know. I've had a lot of practice with all of these Networks. WHEW!

I will follow your directions and keep you posted. When I first brought the kit home last year - OOPS! did I say Last Year? Gosh, it's really been that long. Anyway, the first thing my husband said was, "don't touch that thing unless you are supervised; because I don't want you burning down the house" - Hmm. Well he spooked me into placing it on the shelf. So now, I think I'm ready to get it out of the box.
We'll see what happens.
