Debbie was a wonderful person who inspired me with my jewelry designs (a super customer who was so creative and funny), selling on eBay, and lampworking :-) She passed away almost 3 years ago. I pretty much turned to soap and candle making after that but slowly getting back into the jewelry thing :-) Once it cools down a bit here I am going to light my torch back up and melt some glass. I don't like to run my kiln here in the summer as it heats up the house too much ROFL!!!

Thank-you, yes I did make those beads :-) That was the first bracelet I made with my own beads which I gifted to a dear friend of mine. I made them with raku frit on black glass. When I get a chance I will post more pics of some of my other stuff.

I can see by your posts & pics & everything else that you are a verrrrry
busy person!!!! Do you ever sleep?? I have a lot of things to keep up with.
Like birds, dogs, rabbits, tortoises, a large property, big house and large
family. Making jewelry is my quiet time and mostly done late at night when
my work is done. I've only being doing this about a year and I am trying to
cram as much into my life and time as possible. Sometimes I get in over my head!

what type of medium do you like?
Not sure yet. I am very very new. I still have my starter kit in the box.
what do you like to do?
I'm seeking training video's about lampworking and a bit of inspiration in getting started with at least taking the starter kit out of the box.

Gosh It has been awhile

Wow!, I've been so busy trying to keep up, I've inadvertently forgotten (not really forgotten), the networks that I'm a member of. I apologize. Still haven't picked up the torch. I probably won't get to do that for another month or so (still no glasses). I'm eagerly awaiting Christmas to see if I get them.

Alright, I'm getting there. I went to GrandMa's last weekend to check on my stuff and grab my husband's fountain pens.
